Principal Michael Pietropola 
Mr. Michael Pietropola, West Creek Hills Elementary School Principal, has worked in education since 1999. Mr. Pietropola earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health/Physical Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1995. Mr. Pietropola taught Special Education at Camp Curtin Elementary School in the Harrisburg School District for one year before taking a job as a Health/Physical Education Teacher in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. During his time in the classroom, he went back and earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2008. Once Mr. Pietropola received his Principal Certification he held several administrative positions in Wellsboro; Assistant Principal/Head of Athletics, Middle School Principal, and Curriculum Director. The 2025-2026 school year will mark Mr. Pietropola's 6th year as the Principal of West Creek Hills Elementary School.
Mr. Pietropola and his wife, Lisa have three children; Michael, Collin, and Emma. Mr. Pietropola enjoys traveling and attending concerts, and sporting events with his family.

Assistant Principal Tyler Smith
Mr. Tyler Smith joined West Creek Hills Elementary School as the Assistant Principal/ILE in the Spring of the 2023/24 school year. Before joining the administrative team, Mr. Smith taught Health & Physical Education for eight years.
Mr. Smith holds a Master's Degree in Positive Coaching & Athletic Administration from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor of Science degree in K-12 Physical Education from Lancaster Bible College. Mr. Smith believes in the mindset of “Don’t Give Up…Don’t Ever Give Up”, and his favorite thing about working in education is building relationships with the students and their families!
Outside of school, Mr. Smith enjoys spending lots of time with his own family, exercising, playing various sports (baseball, softball, basketball, and golf), and heading to the beach. His claim to fame is that he has worked for the Baltimore Orioles as a ballboy, and in 2024 was the MLB representative at the All-Star Game in Texas.
