                                     Principal Michael Pietropola     

Mr. Michael Pietropola, West Creek Hills Elementary School Principal, has worked in education since 1999. Mr. Pietropola earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Health/Physical Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1995. Mr. Pietropola taught Special Education at Camp Curtin Elementary School in the Harrisburg School District for one year before taking a job as a Health/Physical Education Teacher in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. During his time in the classroom, he went back and earned his Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2008. Once Mr. Pietropola received his Principal Certification he held several administrative positions in Wellsboro; Assistant Principal/Head of Athletics, Middle School Principal, and Curriculum Director. The 2023-2024 school year will mark Mr. Pietropola's 4th year as the Principal of West Creek Hills Elementary School.

Mr. Pietropola and his wife, Lisa have three children; Michael, Collin, and Emma. Mr. Pietropola enjoys traveling and attending concerts, and sporting events with his family.
